Obinim/ Yaw Appiah disappoints Kumasi fans

People  who went to the grounds of the Kumasi Jubilee park today to witness the super power challenge between Bishop Daniel Obinim and fetish priest, Okomfour Yaw Appiah, were left disappointed after Okomfour Yaw Appiah failed to show up whiles Obinim was kept waiting.

The acclaimed animorphic Prophet and the Fetish priest have been in the news for some time now over controversies about who is really powerful among the duos which compelled them both to set a day to meet and display their spiritual capabilities.

Some of the spectators who were anticipated to witness the duo spiritualist display their spiritual capabilities told TOPNEWS1 that Bishop Obinim and his men stormed the grounds with a coffin for the contenders to be laid in it as part of the activities of the challenge.

They said the renowned prophet and his men left the scene two hours after realizing that the fetish priest had failed to show up.

However, some of the spectators said they were really disappointed in the two spiritualists for failing to comply with the challenge to know who is the powerful among the two who have been attacking themselves on social media platforms for some time now.

They accused them of devising a means to attract public attention.

“They have been challenging themselves for a very long time and that we were waiting to see them display their powers to finally know who is who. It is a plan work by the two” They said.

Meanwhile report reaching TOPNEWS1 indicate that, Okomfour Yaw Appiah who could not show up at the grounds have been claiming to have been prevented by the Police when he reached the Suame Round about on his way to their designated point.

Inhumane:Taxi driver beaten mercilessly by Policemen

A taxi driver believed to be in his 40's who ply Anloga Junction to Atonsu had a close shave after some t hree Police Men p ounced on him and assulted him at the Anloga junction Taxi rank. The victim who mentioned his name as Agya Poku explaining his ordeal to TOPNEWS1 said, he engaged in an exchange of insults with the police personnel who were not in their uniform for intentionally blocking the road with their motor bike whilst the traffic light had indicated green. He said, the cops chased him to his taxi rank where he packed his car, dragged him out of his car and started to beat him up, handcuffed him and drove him off to the central Police station where he received several brutalities from other colleagues of the men in black. The driver added that, he was taken to the Police counter after receiving the beatings where he was detained for sometime before releasing him. He is currently in the hospital receiving treatment.

Politicians Tasked to Respect Tradition

The Krontiene for Sunyani Traditional Council has urged politicians to respect traditional authorities in the country. According to Nana Oboaman Bofotia Boampensem, politicians in the country have over the years displayed gross disrespect for traditional rulers, adding that the politicians are too bossy. Speaking with TOPNEWS in reaction to comments made by the MP of Atebubu-Amantin Constituency, Hon Sanja Nanja against the queen Mother of the Land, the chief said the legislator’s behavior if in the olden days, could have attracted severe banishment to him. The MP angrily insulted the authority of the queen Mother by referring to her as a drunkard. Nana Bofotia has therefore called on politicians in the Country to ‘’learn sense’’ and give maximum recognition to the rulers of the land.
