Wee camps destroyed at Goaso

The Goaso Traditional council in the Asunafo North district in the Brong Ahafo Region has destroyed some five places suspected to have been overtaken by illegal drug dealers.

The Traditional council led by the Goaso Manhene, Nana Akwasi Bosomprah l embarked on an operation last Friday when they discovered some camps being overtaken by some Wee smokers who were busily smoking whiles others were selling.

According to reports, the wee dealers upon seeing the team trooping in to the place took to their heels, leaving their items there.
Items left behind include, Some parcel of Wee, knives, scissors, hammer, blades and papers.

Nana Akwasi Bosomprah and his team took the items and reported to the Goaso Police, whilst police have begun investigations to clamp down those people.

After the operation, Nana Akwasi Bosomprah 1 urged the Media to use their platforms to create awareness to the general public, as the next line of operation will come unannounced, adding that anyone who will be caught in their operations will be made to face the law.
