Mahama Ayariga Hurt Me, I Haven’t Forgiven Him Yet But I Pray I Do- Muntaka Mubarak
Hon Muntaka Mubarak
Minority chief
whip, Mubarak Mohammed Muntaka says he was deeply hurt in his heart over the
bribery allegations set against him by his co- party member and MP for Bawku
Central, Hon. Hassan Ayariga, saying he finds it very difficult to forgive and
forget what he did to him.
According to
him, Hassan Ayariga whom he described as a bosom friend really shocked him when
he came out with such accusations against his personality.
Speaking with
host of Kumasi based Angel fm’s morning show, Kwame Tanko, the Asawase MP
remarked that, ordinary, he speaks to the Bawku Central MP almost everyday but
after the MP lied on him, that enthusiasm and urge that he uses to embark on
all those friendly gestures has ceased as he [Ayariga] has taught him a bitter
lesson as he least expected that from him.
He indicated
that, he hope that soon enough, he finds a space in his heart to forgive him
and forget about what he did to him but as at now, the hurt is too much and
cannot just gross over like it never happened.
The Bawku Central Member of
Parliament in an interview on Accra based Radio Gold, alleged that he received
an amount of GH¢3,000 from the minority chief whip alleged to be from the
Energy minister, Boakye Agyarko through Joseph Osei-Owusu.
According to him, Mr. Agyarko wanted
to bribe the minority side after he noticed they had kicked against his
approval as a Minister for Energy as the money was given to him by the Asawase
MP, Muntaka Mubarak.
