Freda Prempeh appointed new sanitation minister

 


The president of the Republic of Ghana, his excellency Nana Addo Danqua Akuffo - Addo has appointed hon. Freda Prempeh, Member of parliament for Tano North constituency and Minister of State at the Presidency as the new Minister for Sanitation and water resources.

She replaces Mrs. Cecelia Dapaah who is currently under investigations by the police over corruption accusations.

Her appointment comes after the President accepted a resignation letter from Mrs. Cecelia Dapaah, on 22nd July, 2023.

Meanwhile, the President has also named the Deputy Minister for roads and Highways and Member of parliament for Afigya Sekyere East constituency, Hon. Mavis Nkansah Boadu as Deputy Minister for foreign affairs and regional integration.

 Member of parliament for Tatale/ Sanguli, Hon. Thomas Mbomba as Deputy Minister for roads and Highways.

According to a statement issued by the presidency, these new appointments take effect immediately.
