Ash Reg: Suspected phone snatcher escapes lynching at Adum

A man suspected to be in his late 20s narrowly escaped being lynched by an angry mob at Adum, the business community within the Kumasi Metropolis, for allegedly attempting to snatch someones mobile phone.

The incident happened at around 8 pm last Wednesday, 20th December, 2017.

The suspect was however sent to the central police Station.

He was carried in a tricycle, (Aboboyaa) to the Central Police Station after being tied with a rope on his hand and leg.

Some of them suggested that he must be lynched whiles others disagreed, ending up with him being sent to the Police station.

Some two police men came into the scene to support the tricycle rider carry him to the Police.

He is currently with the Police at the Central Police Station assisting with investigation.
