I am the best person to tame Afia Schwarzenegger - Lawyer Ampaw

Ghana's controversial lawyer, Lawyer Mawrice Ampaw has admitted he is the only person who can deal with troublesome Afia Schwarzenegger, host of Angel TV's Angetainment show.

According to him, Afia Schwarzenegger has posed herself as a troublesome and a loquacious person who do not fear anybody in this country, but sees her as a peanut in his sight.

Lawyer Mawrice Ampaw was speaking with De Don on Kumasi based Agyenkwa FM about the legal case between Afia Schwarzenegger and her husband, Lawrence Abrokwa, as the lawyer for the man.

He noted that he will do everything in his capacity to defeat Afia Schwarzenegger in this case.

A case between Afia Schwarzenegger and her husband is still pending in court after the two former lovers engaged in a misunderstanding which appeared to have endangered the life of the woman.

Afia Schwarzenegger has filed a legal action against his former husband for allegedly threatening her life with an acid and exposing a nude video of her's on public domain after catching her pants down with a man in their matrimonial bedroom.

How it started

The two former love birds were legally married and lived together in a house owned by Afia, but due to persistent misunderstandings, Abrokwa packed his things and left the house.

According to reports, on August 29, 2017, Afia’s house help informed Abrokwa that a male visitor had been visiting the wife and that he was currently in the house.

“Based on that information, Abrokwa armed himself with a kitchen knife and a bottle containing a substance purported to be acid and proceeded to the house. He found a car which he believed belonged to the visitor, deflated two of the tyres and gained access to the room through the back door, with the assistance of the house help,’’ he said.

Abrokwa then forced himself into the bedroom, and with his phone camera on, ordered Afia and the man to allow him to film them or they risked being bathed with the acid.

Prosecutor, Chief Inspector Oppong  said Abrokwa assaulted Afia and chased her out of the house naked until she was rescued and clothed by some neighbors.

The video, he said, later went viral on social media.

He, however, disclosed that on September 13, 2017, the Ghana Standards Authority found out that the content of the bottle was actually water and not acid.

Inhumane:Taxi driver beaten mercilessly by Policemen

A taxi driver believed to be in his 40's who ply Anloga Junction to Atonsu had a close shave after some t hree Police Men p ounced on him and assulted him at the Anloga junction Taxi rank. The victim who mentioned his name as Agya Poku explaining his ordeal to TOPNEWS1 said, he engaged in an exchange of insults with the police personnel who were not in their uniform for intentionally blocking the road with their motor bike whilst the traffic light had indicated green. He said, the cops chased him to his taxi rank where he packed his car, dragged him out of his car and started to beat him up, handcuffed him and drove him off to the central Police station where he received several brutalities from other colleagues of the men in black. The driver added that, he was taken to the Police counter after receiving the beatings where he was detained for sometime before releasing him. He is currently in the hospital receiving treatment.

Politicians Tasked to Respect Tradition

The Krontiene for Sunyani Traditional Council has urged politicians to respect traditional authorities in the country. According to Nana Oboaman Bofotia Boampensem, politicians in the country have over the years displayed gross disrespect for traditional rulers, adding that the politicians are too bossy.
