Three Jailed 63 years For Attempted Robbery

Dunkwa Circuit Court presided over by His Lordship Samuel Asare Nyarko has sentenced three persons to 63 years imprisonment in hard labor for attempted robbery.

According to Top News 1 reporter was at the court during the prosecution, the three persons (Francis Armah, Emmanuel Armah and Kwabena Nyarko) would spend 21-years in prison.

The accused persons were arrested by the Dunkwa District police when they attempted to loot a Chinese national in his house at Atechem a Suburb of Dunkwa-Offin in the Central Region.

Police retrieved a pump action gun, Locally Manufactured pistol and cartridges from them upon a search conducted on them.

Though the Convicts pleaded not guilty to charges during the trials but the court them found guilty and convicted them accordingly.
