Isaac Abongo has described the Vice President’s claim of the loss of over GHC 7 billion from the state coffers as a move to divert the attention of Ghanaians from the government’s failure to fulfill its campaign promises. The chief executive officer of Kumasi based Ashh FM and Member of Parliament for Assin Central has called for the dismissal of his employee, Daasebre Dwamena, a broadcast journalist with Kumasi based Ashh fm, who was reported missing after the just ended general elections. The news of Daasebre Dwamena’s missing had been circulating on social media for about a month now, as he failed to show himself up after going to his hometown, Akyeremade, near Kokofu in the Ashanti Region to exercise his franchise and sent in some election reports to his station. Founder of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Jerry John Rawlings subjected the Accra Mayor, Alfred Oko Vanderpuje to what could be labelled as embarrassment of his life, as the states man snubbed him after the later tried to have a chat with him.
