Female News Anchor with Dess FM in the Bekwai Municipality of the Ashanti Region Portia Agyeiwaa Kodie has been found dead in a cold blood in her room. The sad incident which happened around 8pm yesterday April 15, 2017 has thrown residents in a state of shock. A source at Dess FM who confirmed the incident to the media said they found her lifeless body in a pool of blood inside her room with multiple wound cuts on her neck. According to the source, they are suspecting foul play. The deceased body has been deposited at the Bekwai government hospital morgue for autopsy. Meanwhile, the Bekwai Police Commander DSP Edward Obeng Boateng says they have commenced investigations into the matter. The body has since been deposited at the morgue for autopsy.    

Some two persons have allegedly been rushed to the Hospital after consuming an expired powdered milk from the Kumasi City Mall. The two victims (name withheld) are sons of a medical doctor with the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Dr. Ernest Opoku. Residents at Asafo Dadiesoaba YF in the Kumasi Metropolis of Ashanti Region were thrown into fear and panic this afternoon (11th January, 2018) when an armed robber stormed the area to rob people at gun point. The armed robber according to reports managed to abscond with more than Ghc 2000 and mobile phones belonging to an MTN Mobile Money and bulk credit card merchant. Eye witnesses narrating the incident to Agyenkwa News said the armed robber after managing to succeed in the act, hoped on his motor bike and fled the scene.
