                                              The popular NDC serial caller, Frank Kwaku Appiah popularly known as Appiah Stadium has been arrested by police in the Ashanti Region. According to sources, the NDC serial caller was arrested for allegedly tagging President Akufo-Addo a ‘drug addict’.   The traditional authorities at Amakyebare, a farming community on the Atwima Nwabiagya South district in the Ashanti Region have appealed to the Asantehene, Otumfour Osei Tutu II to enstool a chief for them, as the throne has been vacant for years. The Abusuapanin in the community, Opanin Kofi Adu addressing a press conference on Tuesday, 13th September, 2017 noted that the absence of a chief in the community has caused development to be in deadlock. He said the delayed installment of a chief in the community is as a result of Chieftaincy disputes, hence, the need for the Asantehene to immediately intervene to appoint an indigene of the community who can bring them development to occupy the throne. He disclosed that some strangers who trace their background from Tepa but living in the community are attempting to snatch the throne with money and that Otumfour must as a matter of urgency come into the matter to put things in order.
