Occupants of a piece of land at Santasi Roundabout have expressed disappointment in the Lands Commission for embarking on a demolition exercise on the land without swerving them with notice before the exercise. The artisans who have been left stranded said they went to the place for their usual activities this morning but only to find their structures pulled down with excavator by some personnel from the Lands Commission in company with over eighty police men. They told Press men that they have been working on the land for years and that their vacation from the place will be a big blow to them, since they do not have any other place to go. That same piece of land has been in the news a while ago when a demolition exercise of such kind went on by an acclaimed owner of the place, businessman Mr. Akwasi Addai odike.
